Let me start off by saying that I wish I was better at posting more often.
Easter has been great. The first year our girls were only 4 days old....needless to say they had no interest. Last year, the girls has just turned one years old. They would find one egg and be more than satisfied. BUT this year...we were Easter egg finding machines.
I was very impressed with how well the girls did. We had not practiced, which I wanted to do. Last Saturday, we went to our first Easter egg hunt. Between the two girls, they picked up 75 eggs! Initially, Emma started before the whistle blew so I told her that she had to put the eggs back. So when the whistle blew, Emma just started kicking them. After all, I had told her that she couldn't pick them up, yet. Stacy wasn't ready because she had her very own bag of popcorn. I think it was the second time that she had ever had popcorn. She was not willing to give up the popcorn. But finally, it happened. Somehow, someway the girls became interested in picking up Easter eggs!
We went again the following weekend. And by George, the girls have figured out this Easter egg hunting concept. We even hid them in Mamaw and Pop's yard a couple of times just for fun. Plus, their cousin Makenzie has flown into town. So we had to play with her and Uncle Brandon. Emma kept following Brandon around. She wanted to get the eggs before him. She is such a funny girl! I was so into the Easter egg hunts, that I am sorry to say that I don't have any pictures.
We hope that your Easter was as happy and exciting as yours! HAPPY EASTER from our house to yours.
